We are monks from different nationalities living together in a communal life style under the
Omophorion of Archbishop Benjamin of the Diocese of the West of the Orthodox Church in America.

We strive to bring about the presence of Christ in the world, through prayers, sacrificial love and serving others in need.

St. John the Baptist is the patron saint of our monastery, in hopes that he may be our example
in life and ministry, in prayer and teaching, and in his call for repentance.
